Our goal is to empower people of colour to thrive and achieve their goals through excellent and professional coaching.
Everyone has goals they want to reach, challenges they are striving to overcome, ideas that need a road map and times when they feel stuck.
Coaching is fast becoming an invaluable asset to any business, working with employees to unlock their full potential, setting them on the path to thrive personally and professionally.
The lived experiences of POC (People of Colour) in the workplace as a minority, are often very different from the experiences of their white colleagues. Presently, the coaching industry has limited racial diversity, it is more difficult to find coaches of colour.
Coaches of Colour exists to offer coaching for employees of colour; an equitable solution for organisations where diversity and inclusion is valued.
WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?
The days of thinking, "I don't see colour" are gone.
For positive change to happen, we must address and acknowledge race and the different lived experiences that people of colour have
Racial biases and stereotypes make it more difficult to navigate our careers
Lack of representation - people cannot become what they cannot see
Much harder for POC to find career mentors and sponsors
Lack of awareness in organisations of the Black and Brown experience

WHAT WE DO
Our coaching is never off the shelf! We bend and flex around our clients’ needs in order to create the impact that you want. There are two main ways in which we can work with you and a third service that we offer for coaches of colour.
One to One Coaching
Focusing on individual career navigation
Goal orientated; working with or without direct involvement of line managers
Working with all levels of experience, from apprentice to C-suite
Group Coaching
Coaching for a group of individuals who share a common interest
Members have individual goals and are individually accountable for achieving these
Collective learning that develops a stronger sense of agency and ownership over professional journeys
Supervision
All coaches of colour welcome, a place to explore ethical practice
Centering the needs of Black and Brown coaches, using the power and experience of the group
An opportunity to reduce feelings of isolation and increase a sense of belonging
GIVING BACK
For every £1 we receive from our clients, 10% goes towards the Equitable Coaching Foundation, funding coaching and coaching training for people who are less privileged due to financial hardship, disability, race or ethnicity. Simply by working with us, your budgets are helping people in the community who wouldn't have access to coaching but still deserve the opportunity to unlock their full potential.
